The 2024 Nomadic S16 has arrived
At Nomadic Boats, we believe that boating should be an effortless experience. Most boats are loud, smelly, and disruptive, so we have set out to provide the ultimate electric solar-powered boat. This means no gas, no noise, and no maintenance, so Nomadic Boats are always ready for when you need them. Whether you are looking for a more environmentally friendly way to boat or are simply tired of paying for fuel when you could generate it yourself, Nomadic has something for everyone.

Testimonial
"We have loved our Nomadic Solar boat. It's almost no maintenance, has a long battery life, and is pretty simple to drive. Our guests enjoy sunset cruises, fishing with the kids, and swimming off the back when it's time for a dip. Working with the team at Nomadic has been fabulous - they are super responsive and reliable. We would absolutely purchase a boat again from them."

A solar boat sounds great, but won't you get stranded at night?
Nope! Think of solar as an electric boat that goes one step further by being able to recharge itself. During the day, Nomadic boats are continuously recharging, even while in use, which significantly extends your run time compared to just an electric boat. At night, you are still able to drive powered solely on your battery pack.
How fast can they go and for how long?
Speed: Nomadic boats come stock with a 1 kw motor that will go 5mph.
Run time (at full speed): At night (no solar), you can drive at full speed for 5 hours. On a cloudy day, the run time would be 5-6 hours. On a sunny day, the run time would increase to 6-8 hours.

Can it only charge on clear, sunny days?
Nope! The only time your boat will not be charging is at night, when there is no solar. During the day, the panels will charge in all conditions, the amount of charge you get will vary though.
